## Molybdenum

Molybdenum is very hard, but softer and more ductile than tungsten. Molybdenum has a high elastic modulus, and only tungsten and tantalum have higher melting points. Molybdenum is used to alloy many specialty steels. Some other common uses for molybdenum are electrodes, furnace applications, nuclear energy and missile and aircraft parts.

These sizes are in our inventory and within our production capabilities in Molybdenum, TZM Molybdenum & Moly Copper. Custom sizes can quickly be produced. Eagle Alloys can furnish Molybdenum and Molybdenum Alloys in bars, foil, sheets, plates and wire.

Eagle Alloys forms, shapes and supplies powerful steel alloys using the temperature resistant metal molybdenum. We are a trusted molybdenum alloy plates, sheets and rods supplier helping manufacturing plants, part suppliers, mold makers and more build the highest-quality components and machinery. We utilize sophisticated processes and pure elements to create molybdenum alloy plates, sheets and rods and suit your applications exactly.

Molybdenum is used for its extremely high melting point and relative flexibility. When combined with steel and other metals, the bond gives the material a high resistance to extreme temperatures and chemical corrosion. This property is very useful when working with energy applications, reactive chemicals, high-intensity motors, filaments, industrial molds and more. We give you an extensive selection of forms and dimensions to choose from so you can select the ideal material for your applications.

We furnish Molybdenum, TZM Molybdenum and Moly Copper in plates, sheets, rods, foil and wire. See the chart for sizing information or contact us about special orders.
